ANMSA is a network of researchers in statistics whose objective is to promote research in this area in Africa. Particularly, it seeks to develop a research devoted to statistical modelling based on real data. In its understanding, such a research does not exclude fundamental or theoretical aspects. For doing that, ANMSA supports existing graduate and postgraduate programmes in statistics in Africa, especially those related to STAFAV programme (click here for details), by looking for South/South or North/South research collaborations that can lead to sandwich programmes for doctoral theses.
